Kevin J. Sexton...

Terminal 172 New York, NY...

My name is Kevin J. Sexton.  I am 33 years old.  I reside in Long Island NY with my wife Stacey, daughter Amanda, and son Nicholas.

I hired on the L.I.R.R. in March 1999 as a Car Appearance Maintainer.  In November 2001 I entered the Locomotive Engineer Trainee Program, and qualified as a Locomotive Engineer in January 2003.

Having an interest in unionism, I was actively involved with Division 269 of the BLE&T.  During the December 2009 Triennial Elections I was elected to the position of Alternate Secretary Treasurer.  I became the Secretary Treasurer of District 269 in October 2011, due to the then current Secretary Treasurer's retirement.

In November 2011 I attended an orientation seminar at BR&CF's principal office in Harrisburg PA.  I was appointed to be Terminal President  of Terminal 172 in December 2011, and since decided to run for the position of Director.

Being a BR&CF member is something I am proud to say.  I believe in the organization and its core values.  Therefore, I would be proud to further serve The BRCF and its members.
