Assistant International President

Brother Despines was born and raised in Ambridge, Pennsylvania.  He Graduated from Washington and Jefferson College in 2000 where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and an Entrepreneurial Studies Certificate in 2000.  Early in his professional career he worked in sales and finance.

In 2002, Brother Despines hired at Norfolk Southern as a conductor in Mingo Junction, OH.  He transferred to Conway, PA in 2003 and earned his promotion to locomotive engineer in 2006.

Brother Despines was elected to a director position on the BR&CF Board of Directors in 2014.  He served in that capacity until his appointment in 2015 as international secretary-treasurer.  He was elected international secretary-treasurer at the 2016 annual meeting of the members.  Brother Despines was appointed assistant international president in April 2017 and is currently serving in that capacity.

Brother Despines relocated his family from the Pittsburgh area to Harrisburg in 2015 to work out of the principle office. He and his wife Tanya are blessed with two sons, Jordan and Donovan.
